As Director of Marketing Solutions, Asia, Assaf Tarnopolsky leads LinkedIn’s advertising business in Asia, with a focus on Singapore, SouthEast Asia, Japan and Korea.  He spends his days working on digital strategy with clients and leading a team that helps B2B marketers connect with professional audiences around the world.

A specialist in digital, content marketing and mobile, Assaf began his career at the dawn of the internet at a San Francisco start-up.  In his 20 year media and technology career since then, Assaf has, among other things, been a VP at Sony Pictures, CEO of tech-news start-up, and Director of International BD at mobile media pioneer MobiTV.  As an entrepreneur, Assaf founded and built Metro Crepes, a chain of creperies with outlets in San Francisco and Oakland, California.   Few of LinkedIn’s 550M+ global members will have spun more crepes than Assaf!

Assaf is a an alumnus of the University of California, has a Masters in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Lauder Institute and an MBA from The Wharton School.

While he now calls Singapore home, Assaf is a diehard Golden State Warriors fan and stays busy on the basketball court himself with his four sons.
