An experienced and enthusiastic Communications Director with a wide range of skills across multiple sports and in differing cultures. Possesses a global outlook having been in the Middle East, Australia and Asia and moving from Sports Editor, Assistant Editor and Associate Editor roles to management roles in communications.

Currently heading the Asian Football Confederation’s Communications Department, which comprises Content, Media, Media Operations, Audiovisual and Social Responsibility units since September 2015, he is responsible for developing and upgrading the AFC’s messages and branding to the world’s biggest football community.

He previously held the same position with the European Games in Baku in 2015, the International Cricket Council based in Dubai and the England and Wales Cricket Board in London.

He was also an award winning journalist with the Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph and Daily Mail in London and The Australian newspaper in Sydney. He was Sports Journalist of the Year in the UK in 1998/99.
