Kunihito Morimura was seconded from Dentsu Inc. to serve as the Chief Operating Officer of Dentsu Sports Asia (DSA) in 2010. His role encompasses the management of the groups sports business, predominantly in Asia, via DSA’s extensive services ranging from sponsorship sales, activation consultancy, athlete management, media rights sales and television production.
Prior to taking the helm at DSA, Morimura served as the Senior Vice President of World Sport Group in 2005. With extensive experience in major international sports events including the 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cup, 2004 UEFA Euro Cup and countless AFC Events, Morimura is also a part of the marketing program for the Japan Football Association. With great sports expertise and network, Morimura has built DSA’s portfolio which now includes multi-sports event, football, golf, swimming, basketball, tennis, cricket and much more.
