Ridzal have been working in Sports Development and Administration since 1995 upon graduation from the National University of Singapore.
He spent 15 years in Singapore Rugby in various roles across development, communications, sponsorship, marketing and General Administration.
He then left Singapore Rugby in 2010 to work in the Football Association of Singapore. From 2011 to 2014, he managed various areas in the FAS including the Marketing and Competitions Departments and the Development and Planning Development.
He then left the FAS in late 2014 to join World Rugby.
In his role as Rugby Services Manager for Asia, he has been working with the World Rugby Member in Asia and the Regional Association, Asia Rugby, to strengthen their administration and governance capacities and help to grow the game in their respective countries.
Leading up to the Rugby World Cup in Japan, in 2019, the key focus of his work is developing the legacy programmes with Asia Rugby, Japan Rugby and all the Member Rugby Unions to further develop and grow the game in this region
